When renovating my basement last winter, I saw there was some mold in one corner of the foundation. When I asked around “The Waterproofer” came highly recommended so I called. The owner Steve , set up an appointment promptly, and showed up with all of his equipment to test and see how bad the problem was. He was very patient (not condescending at all) and walked me though the process of how they would correct the problem. As luck would have it, a large part of the problem resided underneath my deck with zero clearance below. I indicated it was ok to cut the deck, but he had his crew come and take a look. After careful consideration they decided they would be able to tunnel under my deck for 10′! I couldn’t believe it, and when I saw how well they planned the approach, architected the digging and carefully removed my plants and repotted them, I was AMAZED. They were always cheerful, clean and respectful. Mike the foreman, was teriffic, working with the crew to always make sure everything was running along according to plan. Steve, the owner, was out daily (sometimes twice) to check in on the job and see if there were any questions. They completed within the time frame they promised, AND WITHIN BUDGET. I can honestly say as a homeowner, that you shouldn’t look anywhere else if you require this type of service in your home. I felt completely comfortable with these gentlemen, they did the job the right way and clearly take a lot of pride in their company name. Absolutely Refreshing experience!!
